Dr. Jerry Snow
Dr. Jerry Snow serves as the Program Director for the Medical Toxicology Fellowship and holds the position of Associate Professor in both Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine at Banner– University Medical Center Phoenix. Board-certified in Emergency Medicine, Medical Toxicology, and Addiction Medicine, Dr. Snow actively contributes to several pivotal committees, including the Banner Critical Care Committee, Department of Medical Toxicology Clinical Competency Committee, and the Addiction Medicine Section. His professional passions encompass medical education, toxic alcohols, substance use, legal toxicology issues/forensics, and ethanol. He served as a featured expert on the MCHD Paramedic Podcast and Critical Care Scenarios, delving into a range of diverse topics within the realms of toxicology and addiction. Dr. Snow has lectured across Arizona, covering diversified topics such as heat stroke, envenomation, fentanyl & novel opioids, substance use, and the utilization of naloxone, buprenorphine, and ketamine in pre-hospital settings. Emphasizing the significance of prevention, he is a staunch advocate in addressing poisoning and substance use. Outside of medicine, Dr. Snow is deeply committed to his family and enjoys traveling with them to explore new places and cultures. He is an accomplished endurance athlete, having completed the Ironman Triathlon three times and regularly participating in trail ultramarathons. These pursuits reflect his passion for discipline, perseverance, and adventure—qualities that enrich both his personal life and professional practice.
