Dr. Heise is an Associate Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He is a medical toxicology attending at Banner University Phoenix and Phoenix Children's Hospital. After a childhood of home being "where the Air Force sends us," he came to Arizona for Family Medicine residency, stayed for fellowship in Med Tox and then joined the faculty in 2015. He serves on multiple College of Medicine committees, is a longitudinal CBI facilitator, chair of the Block Course and Theme committee and assists medical student research. His medical interests are in critical care toxicology, pharmacogenomics, drug safety and addiction medicine. He lives in Phoenix with his wife and three children. He enjoys mountain heights, swimming holes and travel.
