Clinical experience begins...
Meetings are focused on third-year progress, specialty choices, networking with a specialty mentor, away rotations, scholarly project check-ins, and residency discussions. Planning of the fourth-year schedule is aimed at supporting the student’s choice of specialty career. Additionally, a review of graduation requirements, mechanisms for away rotations, and Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) uploading are addressed.
Highlights
- Advisors and MS3s review their 3rd-year clinical rotations and calendar
- Advisors and students work together to provide advice on MS4 schedules
- MS3s can connect with fourth-year students with similar career interests through our Big Sib/Lil' Sib program. These connections help inform third-year students about the upcoming application and interview process and provide more information for potential away and elective rotations in the coming year.
